Opioids are highly addictive, and opioid abuse has become a national crisis in the United States. Join Leah Tobey of The Arkansas Geriatric Education Collaborative (AGEC) to learn about opioids and non-opioid pain management alternatives in the older population. You’ll discover how pain works, examples of opioids, non-opioid pain alternatives, state and local resources, and for attending, you’ll be mailed a comprehensive take-home book after the seminar.
